Our Shrimp Coctail is the way we like to kick off a diet. The key to this flavorful concoction is our secret recipe sauce. It might just be good enough to make you forget about all those tortillas and chips you are trying so hard to not see on your friend's plate. Picture our sauce at the bottom, and now add those large plump juicy shrimp along the top. Wait, don't eat it all yet! You need our fresh pico de gallo and avocado chunks for the finishing touches.
For the seafood connoisseurs, here is a helpful menu hint. If you order the Campechana, we know that's code for "add some octopus". Don't knock it till you try it! Yum!

Fresh fruit, tangy cranberries, and zesty cheese. Sweet pecans, that's a good salad! If you want to eat a salad that reminds you of the Florida orange groves and those precious umbrella drinks, this is it. Our Primavera Salad combines romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, orange, apple, jicama, cranberries, pineapple, carmalized pecans, avocado slices, and your choice of feta cheese or queso fresco. You can even add grilled chicken, steak or shrimp, though this is plenty tasty on its own.
- Cheat Day Salads
Alright, so there might be a few things on the salad menu for those fabulous cheat days too. Great examples are the crispy taco shell salad bowls. You are probably familiar with a traditional taco salad. Our Fajita Salad is packed with your choice of grilled chicken or steak sauteed with onions and bell peppers, lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese. It is topped with sour cream and guacamole. While this salad may not be Keto-friendly, it is definitely one we recommend trying when you can!
Another taco shell salad we think deserves some recognition is our Shrimp Salad. We like this salad because it has seasoned shrimp sauteed with onions and tomatoes. Can you smell that wonderful aroma? Now, add the lettuce and tomato, and top it all with parmesan cheese. That's right! We broke tradition just a tiny bit to add parmesan for a twist of flavor that we think actually works quite well.
At Agave, we suggest diets and healthy lifestyles do not have to mean boring, bland and blah! In addition to our numerous choices of meat and veggie-loaded dishes, we also offer a wide variety of salads that pack all the things your taste buds want without all the stuff you are trying to avoid. Try a different one for lunch each day, coupled with a one of our fajita platters sans the rice for dinner each night. You could even make Mondays "shrimp day" or Tuesdays "chicken day".
